Viewed from a low-flying plane, elephants forage on the salt-laden banks of a river in Odzala National Park in Congo. McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park is interlaced with numerous hiking trails. The park has 910 acres of fores and 5 miles of streamside and lake shoreline on Lae Britton. Burney Falls is the centerpiece for the park with over 100million gallons of water cascading 129 feet a day. Teddy Roosevelt once described Burney Falls as the "eighth wonder of the world."


Falls Trail: The most popular trail in the park. It offers close us views of the falls and the best scenery, Difficulty rates from easy to moderate with the starting pint at 3,000 feet descending to 2,850 feet. The first part of the path is paved the rest is dirt.
